Garlic Mushrooms
Ingredients
- 225 g (8oz) Button Mushrooms
- 25 g (1oz) Butter
- 2 Cloves Garlic
- Hot Pepper Sauce [Optional]
- Salt and Pepper
Method
Melt the butter in a saucepan, add the mushrooms and cook over a medium heat for 2-3 minutes stirring constantly.
Add the garlic and continue cooking, stirring constantly further 1-2 minutes.
Season to taste and add the hot pepper sauce (if used).
Cover with a tight fitting lid and reduce the heat to an absolute minimum.
Continue cooking for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
