Pesto
Summary
Classic dish, easy to make and the taste is delicious
Ingredients
- 2 bunches of fresh basil
- 90 g pinenuts
- 2 garlic cloves, roughly chopped
- 90 g Parmesan cheese
- 180 ml Olive oil
- 3 tablespoons pine nuts or walnuts
Method
Add all the ingredients to the blender.
Whilst blending slowly add in the olive oil. Pulse about 10 times until you have a rich paste.
Serve over pasta. Basil pesto keeps in refrigerator one week, or freeze for a few months.
